Q: uncock it and then roll, roll and then uncock, or both at the same time?

What is this ole wet finger thing your always mentioning curtis? I tried a search for it but couldn't find anything.

In Brian's NSA, where you hook his finger. It might even be in a youtube of his as I really don't think it's a "secret". It forces you to lag the sweetspot rather than the hosel. There's a really good thread on shanking that I think he goes into good detail.

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!

You guys will never know just how hard I had to work to stop myself from making jokes about Tiger playing in the rough when I saw this.

Sorry, but I just find these statements amusing:

"Even Homer says....blah, blah....."

Does that imply that Homer is no longer the ultimate authority, but not yet the bottom of the barrell, so he can serve as a tie-breaker?

OK. Commentary over.

Not the point at all, forgive my poor communication. The point is that I believe 12-3 with its capitalization and emphasis on roll preparation points out that the left wrist uncocks and rolls simultaneously. If you do not prepare to roll, or catch the wet finger as the left wrist begins to uncock, you will have problems. I was referring to comments regarding sequenced release. I think the yellow book, which I believe is authoritative and I read every day, points out the necessity to roll and uncock simultaneously. The Golfing Machine simply has a lot more flexibility than people give credit. Anyway, your implication is incorrect, you can remove the chip from your shoulder.

Measurable.

The AMM 6° 3D machine measures these sorts of things.

There is no such animal as "sequenced release," per se.

The face is turning off of its plane right away.

These machines also proved that NO ONE ON EARTH can "horizontal hinge," yet the term lives on, the the literalist persist in their belief.

Of course, remember BRIAN MANZELLA'S RULE of TEACHING:

1. There is what the teacher is saying to do.

2. There is what the student thinks the teacher is saying.

3. There is what the student is actually doing.

No harm in a placebo effect. ;)
