Man can move mountains. So I never put it past anybody to make it on Tour. But one of the cool things about golf is that you always know exactly how good you are by the scores you shoot. And if you're entertaining the idea of playing on Tour, you had better be going 5-10 deep on a regular basis when playing with your friends.

I was this way with baseball. Thought golfers were pu****s. I wonder if it would have turned out any different if I had learned golf instead.

Obviously people can have the same degree of drive-fact is some guys have way more talent. I have seen it in a different sport in another life. A lot of people have a hard time accepting that some folks genetically are better adapted for one activity for another but thats reality sometimes. If I were a master instructor in anything I would basically get as many students as possible looking for a combination of drive AND talent.
Also some guys are so inherently talented they don't need as much practice in fact more practice would be bad for them.
Talent is real the 10,000 hr folks can stick it in their ear.
