Question about fitness and hypoxic training.

I just heard that Geoff Ogilovy uses a method of training called Hypoxic Training. I did some looking into it and it seems beneficial to endurance athletes. Ive heard that Lance Armstrong uses this method when training for races. Question...Is this really beneficial for golfers and will it help you lose fat faster? And..How often would you use this training method per week? Thanks in advance for any info.

i cant see how this would do much for a golfer. why are they saying it burns fat fast?

i wouldnt mess with the amount of oxygen you take in. its not worth it unless you are a super-elite athlete looking for a tiny edge. too little oxygen is generally bad. to much oxygen is always bad. leave the oxygen alone!

Geoff Ogilovy is a road cyclist as well and this is some of the training they do. I am sure it has to do with his road cycling fitness than golf. He is fit no doubt.
