Question about hip position at set up/during the swing

I have had a posture issue diagnosed which has my right hip higher than the left at set up. What issues does/could a high right hip cause, and at what points in the swing should one hip be any higher than the other?

Thanks in advance for people posting their thoughts

Really good discussions on here of late...

Fix it.

It makes it very hard to turn the hips early.

It makes it harder to move the tailbone forward on the downswing.

It makes the spine make a funny S-shape if the upper body does what it is supposed to do.

So....

Don't.

Unless you want to hit slices.

Chicken or the egg....

I find that people set up that way if they know they will swipe it or slice it. makes it easier to start thrir slice left.

Thank you for the responses. In some ways this hits my short game most as I think I have more time to recover with my full swing.

Interestingly it is due to my work raising that side of my hips so the exercises I have will fix it long term, but short term it it snow poles in my belt line and putting it in the right place.

This seems to really shorten my back swing and "tighten"everything up.

Thanks again Brian and Kevin.

Sorry to here Louisiana getting it again, this time for man made reasons.

I wish the big companies would look after the world better sometimes and not just chase the dollar....
