"The one person who treated me fairly" What a victim! Poor, D.A.!
You don't get it! I don't care who sees your swing, who doesn't see your swing. I'm here to learn about golf. You can't fulfill that objective and infact your impeding those knowledgable people who can with all your melodrama. Pull up a chair, open up your mind and your eyes, try more listening and less yapping, and you just might learn something. If you can't learn something stop ruining it for the rest of the forum. Thanks! Buckle up, its a great trip.

Try this experiment, Corky. Drop the hatred and see if I don't drop my defensive replies.

The one person who treated me fairly (and about the only one), EdZ is the person who will see my swing at full speed or frame by frame. He'll also see the Dante swing. He's knowledgable and he's fair. If I'm a fakir, you'll know all the details.

Have a nice journey.

And I didn't? In any event, I would like to see your swing(s) and will give a fair review.

RWH, yes you were fair. I'll be glad to send you a video. Just email me. I'm sending Ed's video
by priority mail Saturday and will be glad to send you a copy as well.

Does it really matter how good the swing looks??
I was just watching Jim Thorpe on TV. He has won two tourney's this year. Crazy swing and follow through but I bet the ball sizzles at contact. Homer would have loved his aiming point down, down, down, and out hitting action. Read 14.0 "The Computer" --- "the ball is also a computer..."

Todd Graves says it this way: "You can't argue ball flight."

Despite what looks like a wacky swing, Thorpe really has one of the best IMO.

Right up there with Trevino and Hogan in his approach with his hands, although he may not pull it off like they do/did.

"Without rotation, it feels like an inside out cut shot" - B. Doyle

Right shoulder downplane, reverse roll FEEL

Think of it this way - if you try to 'cut' a shot as much as you can, at some point you reach the 'limit' of turning 'under' and whammm.... your body responds by turning 'over'.

See the EdZ drills - do the drill with your hands linked, as if boosting someone - only try to keep the 'pinky' side of your hands facing the target as long as possible, you will reach that point and feel the 'snap' release/swivel - and most important, the low right shoulder.

Despite his balky putter, Jim Thorpe compiled an admirable record on the 'Flat Belly' Tour and is now making his mark on the 'Round Belly' Tour. As evidenced by a number of high finishes in the U.S. Open, he tends to separate himself from the field when the course set-up demands great ball-striking.

All this precision from a swing that not only wasn't 'pretty,' but which inspired this great description from the late Dave Marr:

"Jim has a swing only a mother could love." :)

I saw him hit a wood last night and I remember thinking he was in an awkward looking finish position, but 250 yards later there was a small crater on the Par 5 green! :)

A great looking swing is going to produce great shots, unless there is a problem for some reason at impact, in which case it's not really a great looking swing.

Conversely, mediocre looking swings usually produce mediocre shots unless for some reason that swing has a great impact sequence, in which case it
is the exception to the general rule.

Sounds like something Yogi Berra would say in an AFLAC commercial!

Ringer, I'm a terrible person who has no manners and doesn't treat people courteously.
You see, I made the horrific statement, "Homer Kelly is plain wrong!".

Other then Homer being "wrong" about his view of Bobby's swing what was he wrong about?
