In the uncompensated swing (in terms of plane shifting) you are tracing the plane line with pp3 and as such you have predestined the movement of the rightforearm (and as such have set a period for the right elbow to bend). To allow wrist cock on the left wrist - you have to bend your right elbow to maintain the level r.wrist (so that you don't double cock).

Therefore does the left wrist cock set at a particular time for some plane shifts over others ? If so what would be that period for a zero shift stroke?

I would state that it's a different component altogether. The loading of the left wrist has nothing to do with your choice of plane angle variations - be it zero, single, etc. I'd point you towards 10-21 and 10-22.

I don't think it can't be...because the elbow bend is predestined by the movements required of the proper 3D backswing and the wrist cock is caused by elbow bend I cannot see how it could be a seperate function...

I'll chime in and maybe we can both learn something.
Look to 7-3, the magic of the rear fore arm.
Is this what your asking about?

When tracing the plane line with pp3 with extensor action the checkrein of the left arm bends the right elbow....the law of the triangle. The right wrist never has any cocking and to properly cock the only the left wrist without cocking the right, this is basically a correlation to right elbow bend as by staying on the plane line (zero shift swing) predefines it ?

Mathew,
Are you certain that bending the Right Elbow causes Wrist Cock? Try going to the Top of your Backswing while keeping the Wrist Cock zeroed out. You should be able to do it by maintaining a constant amount of bend in your Right Wrist.

If you take your backswing, notice WHEN your right elbow bends. Basically at the same point regardless of what you're trying to do in a full swing. Try keeping it straight for a long time - weird, isn't it? Try bending it really early - again, an odd feeling. I don't think the right elbow bend "point in the swing" changes all that much - if at all - due to plane angle variation.
