Was searching Dave Tutelman site and found his diagrams... he likes to bust myths wide open too... he uses ratio between 70-80 : 30-20 for the initial path of ball related to clubface angle : path...same as your calculations.

His website gives english words to help understand almost exactly what Mandrin has been saying for long time.... Mandrin = Tutelman?? or just that physics = physics ( no matter who you are/ where you are)
