Right forearm tracing clubshaft plane

I understand the concept of the right forearm tracing the plane line, but am struggling to feel it. I even have a planeboard. I guess the difficulty starts with the fact that my right forearm and elbow start above the plane. When do they get onplane? At waisthigh? What is the motion on the downswing?

Are you sure you aren't confusing plane angle and plane line? It is my understanding that the right forarm traces the plane line, not the plane angle the club is on.

Brian---in studying your "Get It Right" video: In the grip section you walk thru the neutral grip and then along with that you zero in on "getting the arms under" and thus the right forearm on plane with the shaft by using the right hand "trigger finger" method.

Was working thru this yesterday with inconsistent results, just seemed like I had to strengthen the right hand grip to get the right forearm down to the club shaft plane.

I have to say, when I got it right the ball striking and accuracy was there, but I seemed to want to revert to the neutral grip over the forearm on plane....

any further help or thoughts appreciated....
Thanks-Barry
