I was at the Open in 64 - watched Thurs & Fri Rounds at Congressional. Opted to play 18 on Sat morning and then watch the final 18 on tv (coverage back then not what it is now). Don't remember if I watched Ken play any holes or not.

He always appeared to be a humble man and a class act.

The golf world has lost a true champion.

Ah geez. I was worried when he didn't make it to the HOF ceremony. With his legendary broadcasting career I'm surprised it took so long, but I'm glad he was able to receive the honor before he passed.

yep, grew up publinx, great amateur career. I spent a few afternoons with him having cold ones down here in Marco Island. Best stories EVER!
