don't worry, the bears will take care of the seahawks for you saints fans (assuming we play them and not the eagles of course)

I was shocked watching that game. And coupled with my hatred of the Seahawks coach (notice I do not even type his name) it made me sick.

I think the Saints defense missed the flight to Seattle. To let 26th or 27th ranked offense score 41 points is just terrible.

There is only so much room for Black and Gold in that league.

Here we go Steelers, here we go! I love getting an old team on short rest after a bye week!!!!!

It is really this simple:

Roman Harper is not a cover guy. But he is a good player on a team with a good Free Safety. Last year, Darren Shaper still had some legs left. Now, he can't run out of sight in a week. But, Malcom Jenkins has played well at FS this year. Against the bucs, Winslow went after Jenkins for a earlier in the year hit on Freeman (The QB). He was successful, and Jenkins' knee was hurt pretty bad and he missed the Seahawk game.

Plus, without Pierre Thomas & Chris Ivory, the Saints top two runners, out for the game, and then Reggie Bush and Julius Jones out during the game, former 6th stringer, Deshawn Wynn got the ball on the critical 2 point conversion try.

We weren't going to keep winning like that.

So, a good OLB, a couple of Safeties, and maybe one more RB and we'll be back in the mix.

I've never pulled for the Bears in my life, but here I am......

So, Go Bears!

I am surprised it took this long for the shots to get started!!! Saturday will be a greet day for those of us who wear purple.

As an Eagles fan I can definitely sympathize. We were a one-trick pony on offense this year. That won't get you far in the playoffs. You need to be able to run the ball.

So, as a University of Delaware Alumni, it's go Ravens for me!

What did you expect. Saints were a bad team all year. Here was my wild card playoff thoughts before the games.

Ok here is my leans
Game #1
Seahawks +10 or more. Seahawks second game of the playoffs. The hawks have so much going there way. What i mean by that is they will have learned what they did well and bad in that first playoff game. They have heard every negative thing about this team how they suck, dont deserve, and saints killed them last time. They learned that they have to win the TO battle. Any given sunday! I also feel that the saints are facing a good coach with big game experience. I believe that the saints last year benefited greatly from poor coaching by the vike and colts.
Example #1 Vikings totaly stuff and own the saints second half, even with so many fumbles. Vikes coach allow 12 men after a timeout. Second chili calls a rollout play with a QB that got pounded all game instead of running the ball to try and get the 5 yards back and give yourself a shot.
Example #2 Saints gets stuffed in 1st half with little time on the clock deep in colts field. Colts with all momentum and the coach decides to run the ball three straight times. Best QB of all time and one of the best short passers of all time, zero running game all year. In fact worst running team to make the super bowl. Coach again chokes changing his teams philosophy and gives the saints momentum going into the half.
The seahawks are motivated, well coached and will give the champs a hard fought battle.

Second Game today.
Colts +2.5 The colts defense has been slowly getting better with playoff intensity. The colts have been in playoff mod for most of the late season. Peyton Manning!……….. Enough said.
Jets. Big hopes this season after last years run and hard knocks show. This team has lost there identity from last year. It is not even close to the same team. Last year they dominated the line on both sides of the ball. Teams are getting great pressure against this o line and sanchez is on his bike early. Last year they had jones and pounded the ball until no end (chiefs this year). They do not have a power running game. Santonio Holmes is a disrtaction for this team. Early games (holmes suspension) Kellar fit so well and gave sanchez a great chemistry relationship that has been ruined once holmes returned. The offense clicked early, special teams carried them in the middle. Struggles on offense have been present for some time. Sanchez is in the sophmore slump. The Jets D has been walked on all year long.. Jets came into the playoffs weak and heading in the wrong direction. The colts although not great have been heading in the right direction and the core of this team knows what this time of year is all about.

Game #3
GB ML.. Vick is roughed up.. Vikings have a terrible D and exposed this team for what they really are. Two dimensional and by that I mean Vick and Jackson.

GB D can shut down teams when motivated…. Shut down Jackson with double coverage and Mathwes will have a great day. This game is the best play of the playoffs.. Gb offense is explosive with several passing options and can run the ball better than the eagles.

Game #4
Maybe the under.

I thought KC might upset somebody in the playoffs but the ravens are the worst matchup for them. Ravens cant finish off opponents… Cassel so spoty. Both teams play run and defense, this will be maginfied by all teams during the playoffs(except NE). This game will be so grind it out football much like the steelers games… I expect his game to be under 30 points.

As a fan of great defense, I can't wait to see this game. But as a fan of both of these teams, it's kind of hard to watch a game like this; I usually discover a rooting interest sometime in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. But if Kevin keeps this up, he may help make my decision for me :)

That Marshawn Lynch run was nasty. How do you get pushed five yards downfield by the running back you're trying to tackle? Not trucked. Not dragged. ONE-HAND PUSHED. That run even got the attention of my sports-indifferent wife.
