Best record in the league, played the most fundamentally sound football all year....wasn't sexy, but got it done.

Yet no respect from most of the football "insiders". Matt Ryan is the real deal, best thing to ever happen to the Falcons was for Vick to be Vick....

Atlanta looks good this year and it may be their year, but there aint no way in hell I pull for em.

Sorry,

Go Packers!!

Except earlier this year the Seahawks took it to the Bears.

We had no offensive line at the time (ha we still dont but now they are at least "passable") and mike martz was still throwing the ball like 40 times a game. Matt forte had 11 yards of rushing.

We are a different team after the bye; however i will say this:

If the Bears can get SOME time for Cutler to throw the ball it won't be the offenses fault we lose any game. Look at the jets game, all day to throw and we did alright.

It is really this simple:

Roman Harper is not a cover guy. But he is a good player on a team with a good Free Safety. Last year, Darren Shaper still had some legs left. Now, he can't run out of sight in a week. But, Malcom Jenkins has played well at FS this year. Against the bucs, Winslow went after Jenkins for a earlier in the year hit on Freeman (The QB). He was successful, and Jenkins' knee was hurt pretty bad and he missed the Seahawk game.

Plus, without Pierre Thomas & Chris Ivory, the Saints top two runners, out for the game, and then Reggie Bush and Julius Jones out during the game, former 6th stringer, Deshawn Wynn got the ball on the critical 2 point conversion try.

We weren't going to keep winning like that.

So, a good OLB, a couple of Safeties, and maybe one more RB and we'll be back in the mix.

I've never pulled for the Bears in my life, but here I am......

So, Go Bears!

Kinda been the story all year right? Offense still just about as good as last year but no running back and not as good of a defense.

I don't care who you are, throwing the ball 60 times a game doesn't exactly equate to a win. I would have loved to have seen a Saints/Bears re-match :)

There is only so much room for Black and Gold in that league.

Here we go Steelers, here we go! I love getting an old team on short rest after a bye week!!!!!

Steelers 42 Ravens 3

Ha ha - wanna bet?! I think the 'Stillers probably win at home, but it will be a dogfight as always. IMO, the best rivalry in the NFL, maybe all sports. Very likely there won't be 42 points scored combined :D

They didn't get all those big turnovers they got last year is one of the big keys. That, and they really were a horrible tackling team this year.

After last seasons Super Bowl win, the Saints loss to Seattle isnt so devastating. As a long time Saints fan, I am conditioned for maximum disappointment and heartache.

Last year made up for all of that and then some.

If I were the Saints or a big time Saints fan, I would be concerned about the potential free agency disaster (a couple safeties, LBs and RBs might be the least of their concerns). I have read that depending on how the new CBA works out, they could have up to 28 free agents. Their roster could be a lot different next season.

All I know as a Dolphins fan the worst thing that could have happened was the friggin Jets beating the Colts!
So many NY'ers down here I won't be able to turn on the radio until they get beat!
