Sand troubles

I have been working hard on my NHA based swing that Brian has taught me and with the thought of "throw the drunk" my contact has become the best I have had in at least a decade. I am hitting regular shots with a little bacon divot about 1-2 inches past the ball.
the problem : I am doing the same thing in bunkers! I am not thinning shots as much as hitting the ball pure. I am going nuts! if I try to hit more behind the ball I bury the club in the sand! I purchased "over and out" and the shot is awesome for flops but I still suck in the bunkers.
I was thinking that maybe it is a shoulder angle thing but I am very frustrated.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ric,
Sounds like you need to expose less of a square face to the ball and more of the hosel with an open face going a little left.
You could grip the club more open and swing left more.

Over and Out

I really liked Brian's video on sand play in "Over and Out".

I think it should be a player's first choice as you can do it with your present swing pattern.

If you're hitting it good don't change a thing.
