Short Game Skills Testing

Not sure how many teachers in here conduct Jerry Tucker's 100 Shot Short Game Test on a regular basis. If you do and have some results, I'd love to build a database of results. Thanks for any help.

Daniel,

I have the test and have been waiting for the temperatures to get better. (at a private club in New Jersey) Our first step will be to administer it to our staff to get some results built up and then take it to our Members. I will have some probably later this spring and can share them with you then.

How are you offering it? What price and what are you including with it?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

I'm sure when the weather breaks you will like the test and feel it is quite accurate. I am fairly loose with pricing. Sometimes I will include it into a 5 series of lessons. Also, for our Top Juniors we have a Sunday afternoon program and we will incorporate it into that. For my "very regulars" I do it on my own time and dont charge. Give yourself 90 minutes to conduct the test, make sure that the player does not rush it. In the packet there are some "numbers" but they are quite dated and I would love to get a more revised database of college/mini/tour players.

yea, ive got the test too and awaiting better weather. do you do it with two people or one and do you stand out by the target flags?

I've done it with up to 4 students. although I dont recommend that because of the wait time and the length of time it takes to conduct. Generally I am running one person through it, but two work fine. I do stand near the target flags, we have a 6 foot and 9 foot diameter circle around a couple flags that we use for our wedge testing, then of course the practice greens for the chipping and pitching.
