That is to say impact is different but the swings that produce it are indecipherable. Sure if I fire and fall back, block one and flip one, way different impact numbers, but little to no difference in the swing. Two way misses. Happens a lot. Call it saving the swing or whatever, my point is I was not in any significantly different position to support impact. This is where TRACKMAN has a shortcoming. You can zero it out by luck, or at least in such a way you can't repeat it. I teach a tournament player who suffers from zeros on the range and pull hooks in competition.

DC - on a side note, I spent a week at a John Jacobs Golf School (Lake Nona, 1989?). One of the most enjoyable and educational weeks of my life. Hit a bazillion balls. I can still hear one of the instructors saying to me, "swing down, swing down, swing down" to stop OTT move. The face to path can change drastically with something as simple as a grip change. The path has not changed at all. So you will SEE no difference. Might not have to change. No new move just a compatible face. Or a ball position change. Who's gonna SEE that in the move? But the TM numbers will change for sure. My original point remains. The "this way versus that way" is not as different as one might think. I mentored under John Jacobs and fixed A LOT of ball flight before TM AND before video. Just not that different of a move.

Now I just need a week at a BManz school.
No, it was at Lake Nona, 1989 -- we stayed in the guest lodge rooms that were on-site. It was a Golf Magazine/John Jacobs Golf School. Lake Nona had been opened for only a year or two. Great experience. Still utilize GASP.Maybe Orlando World Center in 89?

You may have been one of them, DC. It was a good group of instructors. Just remember that a lady instructor is the one who conducted my parting review, take-home instructions packet, etc. That JJGS packet disappeared about two relocations ago but I can still repeat the instructions in my mind, verbatim. That's funny. Was I one of the instructors? I taught Nona, World Center, Naples, Scottsdale, Palm Springs, geez i think a few other sites too from oh, 87/88 to mid 90s?
