With Brian and crew now engaged with science and technology, will the squat really generate the xtra umph?

Unless I misunderstood the message, apparently you (Brian) lack the qualifications to speak about this... this is an exerpt from a someone who posted on the Youtube video and thought you might want to respond.

"...for evermore people coming up with new PSEUDO THEORIES LIKE THIS - people with absolutely no training in science whatsover talking absolute DRIVEL !!!... This guy does NOT really know what he's talking about; for the simple reason he does not understand the dynamics of the golf swing..."

You read this guys other recent activity....his/her critisism is aimed at some highly regarded people...

eg. of Monty Python - admitedly not a great sketch of theirs...

They (dinkipooxa) state... "As far as I recall this humour provoking gambit was used quite a lot in Monty Python sketches. Another sign of amateurism; they should have restricted its use to just the once. But then, was that not typical of them - their background is academic, NOT professional comedy writing; AND, it most certainly shows ! "

They returned a day later to add...

"At the risk of being tedious; could you really say that the acting talents of any of the MP team could compare with the likes of Harry H Corbett, Wilfred Brambell, Tony Hancock, Felicity Kendall, Richard Briers, Terry Scott, Leonard Rossiter, or a host of others; or that the writing has any of the depth of Galton and Simpson, for example.

Their basic "interplay on words" that structured most of their sketchesl, owes much to their academic background; not enough creative fodder there really ?"

and...

"When one takes that sort of approach to writing, to its extreme, one gets sketches to include "characters" such as patches of brown liquid. Maybe this was an in-joke with the MP team, in recognition of the fact that, once the audience is in a sufficient frenzy, one can get away with any old.....er, patch of brown liquid ?"

:rolleyes:You get the picture that this person is a pretty high opinion of their own opinion - so much so that they returned (perhaps after sobering up) to banter on a sketch that was written nearly 40 years ago and is not a very good example of a highly regarded comedy team's work...

Their "favourites" reveals an eclectic taste for guitar music, opera, TV comedy and hardly any golf...Brian is fortunate to have been singled out by such an important critic... one of dinkipooxa's other favourites as of 19-06 hours GMT today was...

I think Brian has little to learn from this critic...but we all have lots to learn about dinkipooxa....;)

It's part of the pull back, the run up, and the jump. Any DYNAMIC player does it which is funny since the commenter said he doesn't understand the dynamics of the swing lol
