Run,If you get into a HORIZONTAL HINGE condition, like Freddie does in the pics, and you hit a FADE, what are you???

CF swinger I'd say with ball position back of low point.

I want to hear more this CF Fade with horizontal hinge action...like a swinger with an open stance line and an open plane line...Why is Freddy right hand off the left hand and arching like our friend "VJ Singh"

Hmmmm...

Let me see if I have this correct....

You want to know how to FADE it with a SQUARE STANCE & Horizontal HINGE ACTION?

I would assume you'd know this. No?

I know how to do it with an open stance....I just want to hear more from "richard" on this....Thanks B.....When is your gathering at the Teaching & Coaching Summit and Where?

Simple.

If the CLUBFACE IS ALWAYS VERTICAL TO THE GROUND—ie "Horizontal Hinge Action," the ball will go pretty darn straight if the ball separates when this VERTCAL CLUBFACE is square to the target.

So, to hit a fade, just hit it BEFORE the point that would produce a "VERTCAL CLUBFACE is square to the target" at separation.

NAT is technically correct, that this ball would start right and fade further right, so the stance and plane would have to point—or aim—enough to the left of the target to make the ball go TOWARD the target.

If course, NAT and Run know all of this already, but for those who don't, there it is.

Yep yep. What about the ball position in the stance?

Seeing as it is horizontal hinging, wouldn't it have to be a little farther back of the impact point for straightaway flight? Either that, or keep it (ball position) the same as straightaway position while rotating the face open in the grip?
