WOW!!!

Either she has a very limited clothes budget and there were several months work between the two shots OR... at least one of student or teacher has some talent!!! ...Does Michael Finney have a younger sister???:)

That is some change! Is that a magic wand you are controlling her head with or a 9 iron!

Brian, you hinted that lots of things changed but were not the primary action you taught her. I deduce that the pivot changes etc must be secondary to something else.

I am guessing LAG pressure ( learning to feel and storing it) as well as where to dump it? ( aiming point ) were somewhere on the list?

If your student can get that move up to full speed she will play G.O.L.F. !!
... she could even be your new logo!

well done both of you!

Yup & Yup.

These must be the most dynamic swing changes i have seen ( before and after) from a days work! ... i bet Brian says 1/2 days work!!

If she did this with lag and aiming point then , by my definition, that is hands controlled pivot - making sure the hands are moved in order to maintain certain sensations at key pressure points. But hands being moved by pivot power!

Pure Homer, by the book stuff... :)

PS. where did the ball go in the snap release shot??? frame by frame and it vanishes.... she shank it???

This was about 50 minutes of work.

The Aiming Point -TYPE stuff we did, is not in the book, per se

We worked A LOT on FLOAT LOADING!

The first ball was about 145 with a 7-iron, slight draw about 5 yards left of the target.

The second was about 160 (same club) almost dead-straight, and about 15 feet to the right of the target. Much different sound.

Ball disappears because this is PROGRESSIVE scan.

The difference between the two swings is tremendous. They must have felt miles different to her. What did she have to say about the "feel" of the change? Do you think she will be able to transition this into her game quickly?

that´s why we were not "allowed" to see the backswing :)

right knee

What do you think of her right knee action? I had a similar type move an instructor told me was the first thing I needed to correct. Used right anchor leg as the reason.

I love the sound of impact on the second shot. Were these changes made in the same lesson ?.? Did you the say second shot went further , and if so ,I guess there is something to that compression thing...lol.

The ball has NO IDEA here the right knee is.

I love a stable lower body, but—for now—it is the last thing on my mind. She is too flexible for it right not (or else: pivot train slack).

HINT: If the change the teacher is making, doesn't directly influence WHAT THE CLUB IS DOING, ask them why?

You know what man...

She does have a great pivot...

That seems to be how you can measure potential (at least in having a dynamic swing)...

You can just see it...

Most women on the LPGA Tour don't have that kind of speed....(pivot wise)....visually you can just see it....even Annika don't look like that....she looks "softer"....

And most of em don't hit it 275 with Throwaway either...;)

Good luck with 'er B.....she looks like she's could be really GOOD.

Cause ya...you can even tell with the Throwaway swing....she has that athletic ability.....

And I BET that it's easier to teach people who have Throwaway to not have it vs. people who can't pivot with SPEED to have speed....it's seems to me that it's the "athletic part of the swing." (or at least you have to have "physical ability" as you say....vs. athletic ability)

Right Knee Action?

What's wrong now?
