Good question....

And here is THE answer from "The Answer Man".....

Stationary Head: The Head doesn't move.

Stationary Pivot Point: The Point dosen't move but the head can—and should.

Just to elaborate a bit further....in the "stationary pivot point" the "point" is whatever you "choose" to rotate around.

I choose with Tiger....

Who do you choose with?

I choose with the Biomechanists...

Who do you guess with?

I choose with the Robert Grobers, and Mandrins, and Aaron Zicks?

Who you choose with? :D

LOL....i choose the point between the shoulders because that is what works for me.

However that point could be even further to the right for someone who sways a bit or leans more to the right.

That's all i'm saying, i think the point between the shoulders (or somewhere around there is ideal) however a different point to the right of that is still valid if someone wants to exaggerate this to get the feel and move it back.

However i don't feel anywhere left of center (from the golfer's view) will work at all. The main problem is that it is just too hard to get your right shoulder to get going in a downplane motion because you have basically reverse pivoted and there is just too much "travel" for the shoulder to "get there."
