Staying Centered, Weight on the Left Foot, or not?

Think the PIVOT of '72 Nicklaus, '92 Montgomerie, '73 Miller, with the left arm more across the chest like '53 Hogan.

Steeper Shoulder Turn, enough hip slide to get the weight "off" the left foot mid-backswing, ZERO Axis Tilt at the top to slightly left leaning.

Their pivot + Hogan-flat arms........

Won't that give you something like Hardy's swing or the S&T stuff (just with more axis tilt)...??

It won't produce a mini OTT, but you will hit it GOOD!

Brian has been working on this pattern with me for 3 years.

We had to blow it up - Stage 1
We made major adjustments - Stage 2
We made minor adjustments and completely refined - Stage 3

The future will likely include even more refining. Suffice it to say, I hit the ball better after each of the first two lessons, but I never hit it better at all after this last one.....even Brian was kind of excited and that's kind of hard to get.

You won't swing over your backswing if you swing your arms more across your chest on the backswing. It is really a solid pattern....I thought the same thing you thought until I got it taught to me.

It will make more sense when Brian explains it.
