Brian,

If you had only 5 minutes a day and time to do only two stretches for the golf swing, what two would you do and why? I have been swinging a whippy tempomaster and it has shown me that I totally miss the second half of the backswingwindup, particularly the trail shoulder getting out of the way. At 41, I have some flexibility issues, as well as some issues unresolved from my childhood.

1/Put your hands on the ground with your legs straight and not leaning forward.

2/Practice your pivot - holding your top of the backswing for about 5 seconds
 
The items to stretch that relate to the golf swing are your hip flexors and hamstrings. On the Golf Channel a couple weeks ago, this guru on stretching, mentioned these stretches.;)
 
sit on the ground with one leg bent in to form a #4. slowly reach for foot of straight extended leg. hold for 20-30 secs. do other side. repeat 2 more times each side. don't cheat. this is a great stretch.

Buy two items...

#1: Jerry Barber Practice swing driver (need to look on ebay) swing back and forth, SMOOTHLY, without stopping for 2.5 minutes.

#2: The Power Swing (fan like device) swing back on forth, with force on the forward swing, without stopping for 2.5 minutes.
