There are numerous items that would help a golfer move low point forward.

I'd like us to compile a list.

I think it will be quite long.

Here are a few to get you started.

1. Lagging Clubhead Takeaway

2. Move plane line (HSP) to the left

3. More "Carry"

Lets see if we can get to 50!!!

I WILL BE EDITING EACH POST TO MAKE THE LIST READABLE.

Each applicable element will be bolded and in blue by me.

Having the point between the shoulders, and point between the hips BOTH in front of the ball (or at least even with the ball) at impact.

SHIFTING weight towards the left (front) foot leading up to impact.

Increasing axis tilt (shallows out the angle of attack, opening up a wider window for ball-ground contact) on the downswing.

Thanks, Brian.

hip turn - transports the arms/hands/club forward to the ball
hip action - helps to snap the arms/hands club forward enough
Left shoulder moving up in response to the right shoulder moving down plane which helps move the arms/hands/club forward enough

Touring pros have their low points far more forward than the average player. The real question should be how they do it differently to get low point forward.S&T gets low point forward but I would not be teaching S&T unless as a last resort. Most of the great players got their low point forward enough without resorting to these methods.

I say a low right shoulder and plenty of right arm at impact. They snap their kinetic chain with their pivots a lot later than high right shoulder, run out of right arm at impact amateurs.
