Swing plane (formerly VSP) - High Hands

Will high hands at impact generally cause the swing plane (as defined by Trackman and formerly known as VSP) to be higher?

What causes the swing plane to increase?

I know that Trackman doesn't measure the shaft and only measures the clubhead. However, the shaft is connected to the clubhead and the higher my hands are at impact the more vertical my clubhead should be at impact (in my theoretical world).

Not always by any strectch. Often someone with a very low VSP will raise and drag the handle to avoid scraping the ground. This does not always cause a higher rate of closure btw.

If you have excessively high hands/wrists through Impact, you will be hitting towards the toe ... unless you make strenuous compensations.
