Swing Sequence and Counterfall

Reading the thread about Furyk’s Trackman results I got to thinking, are all these plane shifts, moves, delays, shakes, carries, pauses, etc, just motions the arms do while they wait for the hips to counterfall?
I have been tinkering and trying to better understand my swing and have observed the following:

When I feel like my shoulders or arms move forward first in the DS, I am usually prone to being underplane and all the goodies that delivers.

When I actively use my core to feel my DS I never have these problems.

“So just do it the second way JB”
That is easier said than done in my 11 years playing this game. Even when I carry the arms, I feel like that is starting my DS with an upper body thought. It usually works great for longer clubs but I seem to have some trouble dialing in the scoring clubs. This leads me to think that I am doing something wrong so I go and work on something else. (And the cycle repeats).

Interesting game, this, golf.

Just curious...What are the misses with the scoring clubs and when you do miss with the longer clubs, what is the miss? How bad are the misses? Precisely, what clubs do you speak of?? wedges, 8-wedges?? Sorry, for all the questions, but it might help some determine the problem easier. All the best.

The misses aren't really directional, it's all about contact. It is not solid or consistent.

Wedges and 9 iron.
