I purchased a Callaway Heavenwood this year (2 Wood - 17 degrees). It is equivalent in length to my 5 Wood, but it travels lower and farther. If the hole is narrow, I use this to make sure that I get it in the fairway. I am not a long hitter, but I hit this between 200 and 220 compared to 230 to 250 for my driver (before I found this site and took a lesson from Brian, I was hitting my driver about 190 to 210). I really like this club. It is last year's model and I got it for around $100. I just really feel confident with it off the tee and I can usually hit it pretty well from the fairway also.
Switch to hybrid??
