I think some might be cashing in on the hard work done by Brian, Yoda Chuck and co, but i am very happy to have the information too. A nice little vid.

I thought everyone wanted this to catch on, not remain the "secret domain" of a chosen few. Let 'em cash in. TGM should belong in the public domain.

True enough i guess too. I just found it interesting how Croker all of a sudden recognises TGM way way more in his teachings. As you say tho it's all good, the more expansion the better. Paul may have even been to one or more of the TGM get togethers with yoda and co?

Dear John,

As I am new to the "Forum" scene, it is interesting to see what people have written about my teachings and that of my Aussie Mate -Paul Hart.
Paul introduced me to Homer's "Yellow Book" back in the mid 70's and I was hooked from then on. I had the good pleasure of flying in to see Ben Doyle in 1981 and several times after. In 1989 I brought Tom Tomasello to Australia and visited with Tom back at Deer Track after that.
I played with Bobby Clampett around the time of Homer's death and saw how upset Bobby was at this time. You see he had not met Homer Kelley in person himself.
I have a GSEM Certificate and was passed by Tom Tomasello.

I see many people confused when attempting to understand Homer's brilliant works. I thought it time to have a highly qualified GSED in Paul Hart give his simple, yet thorough definitions so that those new to TGM can have a quick start to playing good golf.
My preference is to use video when communicating golf technique. It is so much easier to duplicate what the teacher is attempting to convey. Hence these TGM downloadable video clips.

I respect Brian for all his industry in getting this high quality Forum site up and running. I look forward to adding my thoughts along the way.
Enjoy the Hit!

What Peter Croker teaches as the his system should not be confused with the TGM videos although Peter has a lot of TGM background.

I paid to download them all and whilst some are better than others they were worth every cent I spent to me. I have also seen very positive feedback from others who know TGM better than I do.

Dear Chris,

Without the understandings gained through studying TGM in depth over 30 + years, I would not have had the breakthroughs in assembling an "uncompensated, in-alignment, orthodox golf stroke that fits "people shaped" golfers.
In the TGM videos by Paul Hart, major definitions are clarified. Such definitions I use fully in my teachings. Homer's works cannot be denied.
When Jeff Johnson first came to a Seminar I held with Gary Wiren at Golf Park Golf Improvement Center in Melbourne in 1992, he saw my GSEM Certificate up on the wall and it was this connection to Homer that had Jeff come back to see me and offer to help me build a simple golf teaching system.
Simplicity by omission will not do it so thorough step by step assembly of the Component Parts was necessary to build a swing that will function dependably. CGS has such a complete set of components that align one to the other from start to finish.
You should check it out. You owe it to yourself!
Kind Regards,
Peter Croker :)

Thanks for the comments Pete! That's an impressive list of friends.

Liked the Videos too

I too purchased the TGM videos from the Croker site and liked them very much. I understood most of the concepts already from both Brian and Lynn but it helps to get more than a few points of view on TGM. I will say the video on flying wedges was the clearest I have seen and liked how many of the components were explained.

I have the Croker book from a few years back and considered ordering the videos but after some thought decided not to stray away from Brian and Lynn (my progress is much improved, straight or draw with divot on all my irons).

I think plain old hard work and an understanding of the base concepts of TGM will drive future results (especially FLW/BRW).

If nothing else, after 20 plus years of playing golf, I think I have a better grasp of the fundamentals needed to produce a good golf stroke. Just in reading about TGM and some of Brians videos I have learned how to apply the right arm and to hit down which I never did in my first 20 years.

That being said.....if new to TGM, give the videos a look. Well worth the $25 bucks.........But I would start with Building Blocks first to get your swing off right.

I too purchased the full video, and find it helpful. I have watched the Doyle video often, had a day long session with Yoda, followed Brian M. closely. There is nothing in the Croker-Hart video other than 2 knowledgable and skillful TGM instructors presenting a clean straightforward general lesson. Good show.
