Good publicity but its a sheer fluke! Kenny Perry is a talent and his coach has not influenced him in any tangable way.

The sharks(Hank, Lead, Butch, Rick Smith, etc) will be circling and at the 1st smell of blood will move in for the kill.

And so, Ron Gring, Kenny Perry's teacher for many years, is now out? Replaced by his son's friend who he has trained?

Please.

I had a dream once Kenny Perry came to me for a lesson. I watched him hit a few balls and
just told him that if I changed him in any way I'd just screw him up. Then I told him to never change his swing and keep being one of the best ball-strikers on tour. I'm pretty smart in my
dreams.

How much did he pay you for saving him? LOL.

Pros are Pros not because they had the best coach or worked harder but because they got it at birth and were lucky to have found it.

Now the pros that worker hard, beat other pros. We cannot even imagine the game they play because it looks so simple. Simple is a tough nut.

I see guys all the time with TW type physical ability and they can't do anything with the golf ball. Why? Because they are aren't born with golfing knowledge and they didn't have an Earl Woods as a Pop.

I hear a bunch Ron.

Of course, Matt's bud Craig Macgruder is mikestloc(finney)'s assistant.

It is a unique deal, but, I really don't believe everything I hear.

Smarten us up.

Alright. Matt Killen came down to TimberCreek with Kenny, Justin Perry and Matt Fuqua in the fall of 2000. Since then I have spent a great deal of time with Matt Killen. We have also worked together with Alex Sloan on Matt's continuing education in The Golfing Machine. I have complete confidence in his diagnostic skill and his throuroughness as an instructor.

Four Barrels Australlian,

I appreciate the nice comment you left about me. I guess my 400 students including other professionals, top junior golfers, and collegiate golfers are all a fluke. Nice to hear that from someone who has never heard anything I have to say about the golf swing. Also maybe for your records I worked with Kenny for over one year before he gave me any kind of public attention. I dont seek the publicity, only the sound of crisp golf shots.
