Feels like I need to make a thank you post... Today I played the back nine in 39 shots with a really unnecessary bogey on the last. That wouldn't have been possible without this site and all the knowledge I've gotten from it and Brian's videos. I now understand my shots in a wholly different way and almost never wonder, why did that happen? when I hit a bad shot.

I discovered this site last fall, since then, I've kinda taught myself with the knowledge I've found here, and now I almost feel like I could educate my pro, he doesn't even now the ballflight laws.

(Hitting on a Trackman this monday kinda helped me too, that combined with D-plane makes me understand my shots)

Great minds think alike! I played 9 holes this morning and almost posted a thank you to Brian/Manzella Academy teachers/active posters for all of the great free info here. I shot 37 with 19 putts. For those scoring at home, yes, I hit all 9 greens in regulation. Had two three putts, one nice birdie putt and a whole bunch of nice irons and hideous putts from 10-20 feet.

Thanks to everything I've learned here I actually feel like I have a clue with an iron in my hand. Hit three good drives, two WAY right but still playable, one way right in the trees on a par 5 and hit a miracle 4 wood up by the green. I'm launching it great off the tee but block slicing about half the time. Irons were good. Putter: horrible. BUT it's a huge improvement from where I was.

Congrats Olof and thanks to everyone here for doing all the hard work and letting me benefit :D

+1 And congrats to you as well.

I missed only one fairway, and hit 5 greens (a few close ones) and had 16 putts. 16 putts is really good on that course. It has huge greens, so I had to lag a few 50+ feet putts.
