Mr. Kevin Shields negotiating his updated lesson rate with new clients....

"I want the hector two roof lights, with the discover cushions and the matching side stripe caravan.
And I'm terribly partial to the periwinkle blue. Have I made myself clear, lads?"

Congratulations, Kevin. Well deserved

No one else need respond... that, Gentlemen, is THE response of the year.

(Great movie - I'm now in the mood to rent it again.)

I don't what accolades are available for PGA pros, but I have to believe anything with "...of the year" has to be about as good as it gets. It is nice to see others recognize formally (and without the needle :)) what the rest of us here have known for some time now. Congrats!

The coaching tree here has many strong branches... thanks to all of you for your help.

Let me confer with my colleague.

Funny thing is, "ShielD" and I were grinding on our hand paths (teaching term that ultimately relates to tumble) just before he found out the good news. I looked at him standing there in his pressed slacks, argyle sweater, leather face (lol) and said "damn you look like a PGA teaching pro". It's a funny thing because I used to tease him about joining the "blue blazers" and going the club pro route. BUT, because he took it serious, LIKE ALL OF THE MANZELLA INSTRUCTORS DO, I am very pleased with his accomplishment.

Congrats ShielD!

Well deserved Kevin. You have no idea how many times I have gone back to a bunch of your posts in my effort to improve and try to figure out what the hell you're talking about. As said earlier, then later on the range the light bulb turns on and I understand what the hell you were talking about--and what you had posted really was simply stated. I appreciate all that you do here and congratulate you on your recognition for your hard work.

Well.. as i was on a role after post 1! :p

Congrats Kevin. Again and again your swing advice and knowledge here is often a shining beacon for the masses.

Very well deserved, and best of luck with your playing to.

Steve

Geez, I appreciate all the nice comments. I enjoy this forum a lot and although it's hard to get things across sometimes in the written word, good to know we can help people enjoy and improve their golf.

Now....."how long for those sausages?"
