The Major Alignments of an Orthodox Golf Swing.

Peter,
1) How did you feel your seminar was received- good and bad?

2) Was the title "The cause and effects of the mechanics of an orthodox golf swing"? If so, was that a different emphasis or the same - compared to "Major Alignments in an orthodox golf swing".

3) Since you got some/alot of feedback from the members of this forum- would you be able to post your talk on this thread- as I'm sure many would love to see it and learn from it.

Dear Mike,

Thanks for your interest in this Asia Pacific PGA Coaching Conference and my Presentation.

In our sessions I presented to approximately half of the Golf Teachers there.

It was exciting and at the end many were standing up and leaning over to see how I controlled the pivot by my hand action as I stood on a pair of "swivel discs"

I selected out 9 Major alignments and presented them in their correct sequence of assembly and then demonstrated how by "pushing" via the "pressure points" in the hands, I could connect the body pivot to the hands plus maintain the alignments throughout the swing.
Following is an outline of those 9 Alignments and their sequence of assembly.

The NINE GEOMETRICAL ALIGNMENTS of an Orthodox Golf swing

1. The Left Wrist to the Club Shaft.
2. The left Wrist to the clubface.
3. The Club Shaft to the body center of gravity.
4. The Elbows to the hips.
5. The Spine to the ground.
6. The Clubface and Body to the ball’s target.
7. The Knee motion during the swing.
8. The Arm Motion in relation to the Body during the swing.
9. The Direction of the Hit in the downswing and the relationship of the Club Shaft to the Left Arm.

I hope this helps simplify the building of an orthodox golf swing for many.

Kindest Regards,

Peter Croker
