Brian: Do you like your players to use mainly one club for the short game shots around the green eg the SW or LW or do you recommend using lots of different clubs for chipping and pitching?

When i took lessons from brian he recommends when using STANDARD PROCEDURE CHIPPING/PITCHING (no specialty stuff) to use the same motion and just change clubs.

Chipping....Use Zero Pivot, correct?

Pitching......use Zero pivot as well???

My own short game has been inconsistent recently. After watching Brians Video, Confessions of a former Flipper, i've been pretty much using this technique for the past week for chips and pitches. All i can say is my consistency has improved dramtically.

He didn't go into that much detail with me because i already had a pretty good short game. We spent more time in the bunker than chipping/pitching.

However i tend to use a zero pivot style unless its a long pitch...i also have a different short game style. I use a mini pull swing and hit the back of the ball when i'm chipping and pitching because i usually employ angled or vertical hinging most of the time.

By hitting the back of the ball it is more predictable for me.
