TRUE TRUE....same wit Daly....same wit Els.

And....they all use STT.....(this relates to the other thread about Elb. Plane).

Esp. Daly and Mick....

Els is prolly a STT on-Plane......like Tiger (of old) and Jack.

What makes you think Els uses a shoulder turn takeaway?

Ever heard his teacher—Leadbetter—EVER say ANYthing like how to make a right forearm takeaway?

Ernie Els uses a hybrid like me....a little bit of both:

shoulder turn to start the takeaway then rightforearm pickup the rest of the way.

Standard Elbow Plane. If your hands reach the Turned Shoulder Plane, then your procedure includes a Plane Shift (very small shift though). That takes talent. Personally, I don't find anything wrong with staying on the elbow plane. But, if you want an easier procedure to acquire the Turned Shoulder Plane, then first perform a Right Forearm Takaway to establish a Flat Left Wrist and Flying Wedge alignments and then complete the backswing using a Shoulder Turn Takeaway. Adjust the travel distance of the RFT until your hands land on the TSP, else you may land on the Square Shoulder Plane. It only takes a few minutes until you memorize the location.
