Thoughts on my swing?

To my limited trained eye your swing just looks loose. It looks like a lot of young kid's swings I see playing. It is a little tough to say anything about specifics because the video is too fast and my eye is not all that trained.
You seem to be really good at slinging the club through. No doubt you probably hit it a good distance but maybe have little control over where it is going. I also would not doubt your distance control is limited. The only reason I can say these things is you swing looks very similar to the action I played a very long time with. When I was good I was really good but when my timing was off it got ugly.
You are in the right place for knowledge. Have some patience and do some seeking yourself. All of these guys have real jobs besides this. Some of them might even have families.
Personally I decided a while ago I was going to go see Brian in Ann Arbor and take a lesson. Until then I will keep reading on here and try to learn as much as I can to get the most out of my time.

Ryan all i see is on the downswing you push your right hip out to the ball, i think they call it" goat humping" must be a TGM term, anyways i think that messes with your path and your contact.
Probably on some swings it's an in to out/underplane path causing thin shots and the ocassional shank, then you subconsciously over correct and it's a pull hook, just my 2 cents. Similar as to what Looking to Learn said in a previous post.

didn't brian offer numerous possible solutions in the ustream video besides aiming left? have you tried them all?

Personally, I think the balance bracelet would help you a lot.
Go hit some balls for 3 hours a day for the next two weeks doing what Brian told you do
Ryan,I just went and saw Brian for the first time I was aiming right and swinging out to the right like 6 to 7 degrees. Brian said let me show you what a 0 path looks like, hit the flag stick from 150 on his first swing! He had my path zeroed out in a couple swings,I have a lot of work to do on my pivot but the results have been unreal! Brian is a great teacher,for him to give you a ustream lesson like that shows what kind of guy he is,bet you can not find another teacher of his caliber who would do that! So if you are not grateful I am,thank you for the great show Brian it helped me to see a recap of my lesson.Ryan you do not suck just work on what Brian told you,it will not take long!
