It's the bottom line in a free enterprise. Tiger Woods is not an individual to be liked or disliked, he is a commodity. Nothing more or less. When big $$$ thinks he is no longer worth following or writing about they will drop him like a hot potato. Nobody cares about these people personally. One simple criteria: does it sell? If Tiger finishing 50th gets more web hits or sells more magazines than some other guy winning, screw the winner! That's the reality, not the utopian ideal some would prefer. It is naive to believe otherwise. To see it any other way is a personal agenda.
