I have a question that i have spent a while trying to find an answer and was wondering if anyone knows the answer, i dont want guesses just fact

What was Tiger Woods' OFFICIAL handicap when he turned pro

and please dont quote the plus 8 that it says in his book

I don't think it matters what his handicap was since the point of a handicap is to give an idea of what scores a player shoots. Just lookup the tournament results from 96 online and you will know exactly.

I know i could do that but i still wouldnt be able to work his handicap from what he shoots in a pga tour event, i want to know what his handicap was at the time he turned pro

Well a week before the 97' Masters he shot a 59, I would think a 65-66 was about average at Isleworth. I've read +7.6 ghin or something a couple years ago
