Good observation and keeping the left wrist level as the elbows are raised I think is worthy of attention. However, the reference point for the Elbow Plane as defined is "where the right elbow touches the waist." This plane also allows for maximum #3 Accumulator while positioning the elbow on the TSP will reduce #3.
