Do they try to hit the ball higher or lower on courses with tight driving holes?

If they hit it higher, do they do it with more dynamic loft AND spin or just more dynamic loft without a significant increase in spin?

I think they just hit less club and hit a stock shot

I think people may be surprised to see how little tour players do with the ball. Bubba, Rory and Tiger are the exceptions, not the rule.

Off the tee - would you think a smaller-headed, but more lofted, fw wood is going to hit the ball straighter than a modern driver with all that MOI stuff going on?

Ishikawa says in the current GD he tees it low and imagines a cap over the tops of the trees and tries to keep it under that "ceiling".
