I'm encouraged (as everyone should be...) that the #1 player in the world only carries the ball about 250yds and sometimes much less. Most of us can't comprehend how Dustin Johnson hits a golf ball, but most of us can relate to Luke's #'s.

Verplank is a pea-shootin' machine! I was a little surprised at his carry distance, low 100's swing speed, otherworldy smash factor, low spin, decent launch angle...less than 250! Amazing consistency though.

So...noone willing to explain Furyk's numbers being better of everyone else and noone knows what driver he hits ? Why bother with Donalds, Garcias, Weekleys while we are unable to interpret the best ballstriker of today confirmed by inventors of your little orange friend ?
I seek the truth, not preferences.

luke donald's swing looks like he's very control and holding on to something instead of a full release. he probably could hit much further, but why if he can't contro lit
