Too much down and not enough round

What type of shots would be produced if during the downswing the right shoulder was too much down or the right amount down but not enough around? Could this cause pull hooks and push slices?

Cheers

You mean closed shoulders at impact, with a low right shoulder? Yes, that can send path to the right and cause two-way misses.

More kind of square shoulders, but it seems the longer the club the more its a slice, maybe as the ball is more forward and the lack of around causes the arms and club to start moving to the left before impact. Does that make sense?

It would be best if you could post a video so the guys could see it and tell you what they think, but if you do a google search on "Manzella Rule, axis tilt" you should find some threads on "manzella rule". Brian has said before that you need to be rotated open an equal amount (in degrees) as you are tilted back. If you are tilted back (away from target wih low right shoulder) without being open enough you will likely have problems.

natep has hit the nail on the head: Without a clearout of the left side at least equal in degrees to the axis tilt you're gonna have problems. If there's nowhere for the arms to go because the left side is blocking, there's a chance that your left arm could wing a bit, and your release could be inhibited, with the natural corollary being an open face (push-slice). Moreover, if you feel that little horror show coming, you may jump the right wrist over the left in an effort to get it to the ball without ploughing it into the floor, and pull-hooks could come along. Get your swing up on video and I'm sure one or two of the very skilled instructors here would be happy to help.
