Interesting article on how the top players changed their swings and some of the risks involved.

Mark Calcevecchia gives his opinion on Tiger's changes.

"His swing, as you've probably noticed, is a lot more upright and closer to the way it was in 2000," Mark Calcavecchia said. "He's not laid off and over-swinging with the club. He's back up into this kind of cupped position, standing closer to the ball and clearing his left hip and letting it rip. I just gave him a lesson he didn't need to know."

Brian do you think that Calc is right on with the changes he saw or do you see other changes?

From the article
---------------
None of the trio underwent radical changes, but with a golfer, any change is a big chance because there's such a small margin of error in the sport. When you're swinging the club 150-mph, being off by a fraction of a second could send the ball offline by 30-40 yards.

Who swings at 15p mph?

I bet the list of guys who changed their swings and went on to be successful is a lot shorter than those that changed and were never heard from again.

It's just an article for public consumption, not intended for the more golf-swing-technique-savvy individuals found on this board...
