I just watched all of that video. Truly amazing what surgeons can accomplish.

Range was soaked so they had us hitting off the mats. I was talking and goofing just warming up for a round, and hit a ball that was sitting on a wrinkle in the mat. It cold dead stopped the club, but my left shoulder/arm didn't. Heard it, felt it, wiped my tears and drove home. Few days later, MRI, wiped more tears and drove home.

Mats are bad, m'kay.

Is surgery only option?

It's just that surgeons tend to suggest surgery (sounds weird but run with me here) just make sure you get a second opinion as sugery in that area can lead to adhesions/scarring/lack of mobility.

Good luck dude, lot's of time for mental game practice and right handed putting/chipping
