Toss question

In the Soft Draw pattern, the toss has the tip end of the club pointing 1 yard right of the target. Where should the butt of the club be pointing in this position?

Not at all. The butt end would have to point to a spot left of the target line if the tip is pointing right. Hand path is crucial to certain parts of developing your swing and will definately help if worked on correctly.

So how far left do you think the hands should be at the toss position? My hands tend to go out too much after impact. I'm working on getting them more in, but I don't want to overdo it.

They can move nicely left as long as you actually do the toss. Often left hands as a thought could cause some handle drag, which you dont want.
