TPI vs. zenoLink

Bingo! Isn't it amazing that once you get a guy to square the clubface to his plane at impact, suddenly the "physical limitations" that were causing his over-the-top move disappear? There are sports medicine professionals out there right now diagnosing the swing that aren't fully-qualified to do so. Evaluate the body, fine. That's their field. Make the body better. No-brainer. But selling the idea that you "can't" hit it solid and straight with the body that you presently have is false advertising.

you have come a long way, my friend

I have done both - there is no comparison - TPI blows them away! TPI is comprised of over 55 experts from all different fields. Zenolink is really all about one guy who thinks he knows everything but doesn't have any golf experience. Plus, they use out of date technology at Zenolink. By the way, TPI never says that someone coming over the top or any swing fault is due to their body! They just point out, like Brian said, many swing characteristics are developed due to physical limitations. Improving the body just makes it easier to fix their swing mechanics! Thanks

I noticed some implication earlier in this thread about kvest not being a "finished product" and that it doesn't really measure properly. Anyone got more details on that?

Are you involved with TPI?
the guy from Zenolink clearly stated that the two programs are both different and really not comparable. but should be used in conjunction with one another.
So I ask, why all the hate?

Thanks so much for the heads up, Mike!

Money line:
"What we provide is objective, scientific information," Welch says. "But the application of that information is anything but black and white. It's very gray and it's very much an art form. Most of what's our there is research. Ours is truly clinical application biomechanics."
That is why Brian's post about 3D Biomechanics was so timely.

Good link Mike...that is a great article that everyone should read if they are interested in 3D Technology and who is using it to make their players better.

I think I'm going to try it

There's a place close, so other than the cost, I don't see much downside. How could it hurt to get a look at what your body is doing during the swing. I can't stop hooking the driver. Maybe I could work on something in the sequence to help the path(?) If I get nothing out of it, my guess is that I've blown cash on less worthwhile endevours.

zenolink vs t.p.i.

gang
understanding zenolink is not a quick fix if you go thru the program without someone who really doesnt understand it, it can be difficult. In the golf side of things, i've found that the best candidates for zenolink are pro's or trainers who have been thru T.P.I. this is a brief write up by the past editor of Golfweek about zenolink, that is the next step after the physical portion.

Thanks to zenoLINK, athletes of every level now have user-friendly access to the same kind of Ph.D.-level performance analysis used by pros and elite amateurs.

.Moreover, zenoLINK is a leader in the emerging field of neuromechanics, which is proving that limitations to an athlete’s “hardware” (body structure) can be mitigated by reprogramming their “software” (how the nervous system initiates muscle movement) by the use of specific drills designed to reproduce small components of overall movement. Those drills are incorporated in zenoLINK’s Progressive Skills Training Program.

This is more than core training:)
