These are some numbers from a session I had in May:
CLUB PATH ----------------FACE ANGLE --------------HORIZONTAL LAUNCH
-4.5_______________________-3.7 ________________________-3.8
-3.6________________________-1.7________________________-2.1
-4.7________________________-2.7________________________-3.1
I had three more shots, but the face angle didn't register.
The first one was a pull, the other two were fades. But in all three, the ball left at an angle closer to the clubface than the club path. This explains why I could never hit a ball that starts left; I would aim the face at my target and open up my stance. The result would be a ball that would start out straight and end up way right of the target.
This isn't news to anyone that posts here. I just thought I'd put up some numbers for a simple comparison.
