Twist Away

I have been practicing the Brian's "twist take away" method.
I have the following revelations and questions.

The arched wrist at impact changes the impact angles significantly.
I can take a 3 wood off the mat and consistantly feel the hitting down action at impact. The ball is making contact in the middle grooves. A heavy feeling at impact. It is taking no extra effort to do this - just keep the arched wrist(twist)through impact and swing as hard as you like/can.

The twist take away seems to force the club to the inside. The clubface no longer seems like it is outside the hands. Is this correct? The downswing also feels like it is coming from more inside?
Is this the downward - outward action across the flight line plane??

Would softer or stiffer shafts work better with Brian's method?

Thanks

Could someone define "twist away" for me? Sorry if this is a really stupid question. But I'm looking for some re-assurance in what this should feel like. Thanks

Go to Brian's articles section and read the never slice again article. Brian explains this move beautifully and there are good pictures.

In Never Slice Again, the twist away is supposed to keep the club vertical/square to the plane longer, thereby allowing the sweetspot to be directly dragged by pressure point 3. Despite having a flat left wrist at the top, I have this tendency to open up the clubface on the way down, and I believe that is causing the sweetspot to 'slip' from pressure point 3. Instead of dragging the sweetspot from directly behind, I am doing it at an angle. ALso the twist away straightens out the left arm. I hope I got this right.
