Twistaway, compression and hooks.

Hi guys,

I have NSA2 and have put a slight twistaway on the backswing into play with some good results.

I find if i also go wedding ring up on the downswing that i get a lot better compression and at least an extra club worth of distance but am prone to hooking it. Without the wedding ring up finish, the contact is good but just doesn't feel like i'm really 'mashing' it.

Should i be chasing this better compression and try and weaken the grip or better off just not worrying about the wedding ring up swivel?

Cheers

Depends on how much "less good" you fell the contact is the other way. If you really like mashing it NSA style, fiddle with your grip or hitting the box or your face being more open.

I'd say my grip is already pretty much neutral as brian describes.

Experimented a bit last night and found adding more axis tilt helped straighten out the ball flight.. really had to feel like i was going 'down' into the ground. Would that make sense?
