US Open Pressure or Setup, which is tougher..

I'm seeing a lot of posts about how difficult the course setup was at the US Open. No doubt it was tough, but I saw a bunch of shots you just don't normally see. Furyk's tee shot on 16, tons of horrible approach shots on 18 from inside 120.

I think the US Open pressure is just almost impossible to imagine. Furyk can hit a three wood draw in his sleep, but man do things change when you're coming down the stretch at the open on Sunday.

I get nervous playing in my local events, I can't imagine what they are going through. I almost think the fear of the course is more damaging than the actual course itself.

Kevin, Brian, or anyone else who has played competively, how to you get yourself to relax somewhat in that kind of situation?
