Brian : I have been hitting a tyre which stops the club at impact. from there I have been pushing the tyre by applying right leg thrust to drive the pivot. What drills do you employ to train right leg thrust in the swing? Thanks

Why would you want to thrust your right leg?

A lot.

when you say MUST Brian is this because the right leg is thrusting providing pivot thrust and therefore needs weight to act against? Thanks.

Bono: My understanding of this is that right leg thrust powers pivot thrust so this adds to the power of the stroke.

It is my interpetation that lag is created and released from the ground up. Lots of lag going through the ball (clubhead lag) would translate to more weight transfered off the right side into the left. Less lag would have more weight on the right at impact. Both sides carry weight at impact.

hey at least eminem isnt giving any swing advice that would realy be horrible, by the way whats your handicap im one of those guys that wont listen to anyone if they cant play.

Aren't all the accumulators and everything else released through the ball (impact)?
Isn't it a matter of timing?
He said: "I really left nothing behind that one" or "I got behind that one".
If there is downward pressure on the right side in the back swing, isn't that pressure going to be released on the downswing.
The question is when? The answer is release and timing.
I mean, when you're swinging well, the last thing on your mind is your foot.

Just a word of advice. Even if you have a valid point, and I am not saying you don't (it doesn't matter anyway), you lose control of a situation when you launch into a expletive laden diatribe and make your self appear to be petty and small and someone who can't control themself. I am almost never in favor of banning anyone from a forum site but you appear to be pushing the envelope.

Not trying to pick a fight, just some advice. Make of it what you will.

Paladin: are you the same 'paladin46' who disappeared from FGI on Sept 11/01?

No, 'new' Paladin that appeared on this Forum this week. On FGI, I sign in as grmgolf. I didn't use Paladin on that forum because the name had been taken previously and I didn't want to cause confusion.

Seeing the topic Ben Doyle's crate, reminded me of this topic. If there isn't a lot of weight on the right foot at impact, wouldn't Ben fall off the crate he's standing on?:D[?]
