BTW, what's the deal with the ball a bit left of the gold tee?
Actually, that was the white tee marker. Yikes, sorry.
Does Adam have a hint of twistaway in his backswing Brian? The other thing that i notice is his shoulders stop turning early on the backswing, well before finish. This would show his main backswing thought isn't entirely the big body controlled turn ala Faldo etc?
Why is he playing a draw on that hole? Better yet, if he doesn't fade the ball, then wouldn't he be smarter to start the ball down the right side of the fairway and draw it to the left side? Starting it out along the cliff and drawing it back is risky especially if he the ball comes off dead straight.
Dude, relax. Kid shoots 77 and probably left some shots out there. Btw, this was at Pebble freakin' Beach.
assume there's a wind coming in from the ocean, no? (draw-enhancer)

...Adam has a bit of dip in the downswing...I have seen here and on other forums, Tiger's dip attacked as a bad thing in his swing. Is it something you work on with Adam or is his dip acceptable?

I never said that Tiger's dip was a "bad" thing, just that he'd do it less if his head was more down at address.
At some point with every student, I try to get their head in the "Nicklaus-like" position, but, if it doesn'r stick, or makes things worse, I don't mess with it anymore.
With Adam, like most of my good players, I focus on more importan t things.
