What are Wie and Leadbetter working on?

The part of her game that seems to be suffering most is trust. What appears to be going on is more a crisis of confidence than it is the result of an injury. On the range, David Leadbetter, Wie's coach, had Michelle swinging with a Gary Player-like step-through move in which she would follow the flight of the ball by taking a step toward the target. "It's forcing me into trusting my shots," Wie said. "Because right now all I need to the confidence to play well.

First he gets her to stack and tilt now he has her practicing the step through? Looks like he is trying to undo the stack and tilt disaster.

Heh... good old walk through drill. Now who is it that made a video of that a while ago? Hmmmm.

It's not necessarily anti-S&T though. But Leadbetter saying it's for confidence is odd. It's to help with connectivity, tempo, and balance.

I was there Tues....She's got some serious Loading and Leakage Problems...My solution would be The Mazella Flipper video for her!!!!


She lacks confidence because she's got NO Club Control!!!!
