Clubface control.

Then there are the leakage Hookers, the one's with a little flip and a right-to-left ball flight—this accounts for about 13% of golfers.

These guys and gals either flip and "anti-swivel" (kind of a chicken wing) to CATCH the closing clubface, or flip it TO turn it over.

It is painful to acknowledge that I have been a part of the 13% leakage hookers almost forever. Every time I think I have it licked, I backslide and then end up finally looking at the little flip I am using to fix my other issues. I always come back to this little leakage issue and how I adjust to it.

It took a long while to figure out this was why Brian was working with me on my pivot so much. Use a NSA pivot and the "reward" for the little flip goes away. Maybe even helps me eventually swing more left to fix the hook, too?

Golf is such a weird game - you think you have a problem, but the real problem turns out to be exactly the opposite of what you thought it was.

I thought this thread deserved to be dug up.
